THE TWO TRACKS
We're uniting the most innovative minds in music, video, and AI to envision the next chapter in music, video, gaming, and interaction design.
Participants can choose from two tracks:
AI Jam Session (Non-Technical Track):
Dream big and visualize the future you desire. If you can't visualize it, you can't create it. We welcome AI developers and artists to collaborate, using generative AI platforms like Midjourney, Dall-e, Pika, ElevenLabs, et al.
THEME: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Generative AI Applications and Worlds (Technical Track):
Craft groundbreaking tools, experiences, or consumer apps that utilize generative AI for music, video, images, 3D, and more.
Rules: All participants must submit either code or content. No external guests allowed. Participants should be recognized artists or seasoned hackers. You're free to start your projects or creations as soon as you gain entry to the event.
-
Eligibility: The hackathon is open to designers and engineers who are interested in AI and creativity. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
-
Team Formation: Teams must consist of no more than 4 members. Participants can form their own teams or join a team during the event. All team members must be present during the hackathon and participate in developing the project.
-
Original Work: All projects developed during the hackathon must be original work. Participants cannot use previously developed code or pre-built creative assets. However, participants are allowed to use open-source libraries and tools.
-
Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to follow the code of conduct for the event. This includes treating all participants with respect and not engaging in any harassment or discriminatory behavior.
-
Submission: Each team must submit their project for consideration by the judges. The submission must include a demo video and a project summary, including how generative AI was used.
-
Ownership: All projects developed during the hackathon will remain the property of the participating teams.
-
Judging: The judges' decision is final and will be based on the criteria of creativity, innovation, use of generative AI, and the potential impact of the project. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any team for violating the rules or the code of conduct.
-
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams based on the judges' decisions.
By participating in the Mulitmodal Hack, participants agree to follow the rules and code of conduct. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team for violating the rules or engaging in any inappropriate behavior.
